Is there already a MeshCore network near me?

The official map at map.meshcore.io shows the repeaters, Companions, and Room Servers reported worldwide. For the Saxony region and Germany, there’s also a neighborhood map at https://mesh-sn.de/karte, which visualizes the signal connections between repeaters.

Tip: Even if the map doesn’t show a repeater nearby, that doesn’t mean there isn’t one. Not all operators add their devices to the map.

How can I support the community?

There are many ways:

• Set up a repeater—the most direct way to help expand the network.
• Maintain the neighborhood map—export your repeater’s neighboring data as JSON and import it at https://mesh-sn.de/karte.
• Share your knowledge—share your experiences, building guides, and tips with the community.
• Help others get started—whether in the Telegram chat, on Discord, or at local meetups.

What’s the story with the MeshCore fork?

In April 2026, a split occurred within the MeshCore project due to disagreements over AI-generated code and trademark issues. In addition to the official firmware, there is also the community fork MeshCore-Evo, which specializes in optimizations for large networks (flood traffic reduction, duty cycle management).
