Low-noise preamplifier for improved reception

An LNA (Low Noise Amplifier) is a low-noise preamplifier in the reception path. It amplifies weak incoming signals before they are processed by the LoRa chip, thereby improving reception sensitivity. It is often installed together with a PA as a PA/LNA module.
