The MCU (Microcontroller Unit) is the main processor of a LoRa device. It executes the firmware, controls the LoRa chip, and processes messages. Common MCUs used in MeshCore devices are the ESP32-S3 (Espressif) and the nRF52840 (Nordic Semiconductor).
