Repeaters form the infrastructure backbone of the MeshCore network. They intelligently forward packets to the destination device—unlike other LoRa mesh systems, they do not blindly retransmit all received packets. Companions can communicate via repeaters with up to 64 hops. Repeaters can be remotely maintained using the MeshCore app. Most repeaters are solar-powered.
