⚠️ Check that radio.rxgain(on) and flood.advert.base (0.308) are set correctly after flashing! ⚠️
This build is based on official MeshCore 1.15.0 dev branch (as of 25-May-2026 and additionally includes the following unmerged upstream PRs/changes:
- PR2553: Limit flood advert packet forwarding -->
set flood.advert.base 0...1(0: no flood adv. forwarding, 0.308: default, 1: all flood adv. forwarding) - PR1810: Allow direct message paths when denyf * is set
- :new: PR1727: Use hardware channel activity detection for checking interference --> Use
set int.thresh 1to activate hw based channel activity detection. - :new: PR2377: Disable NRF52 undervoltage bootlock feature
- Flood adverts are disabled (flood.advert.interval set to 0) by default
- :new: modified PR1810 to not block flood adverts but only
PAYLOADTYPEGRPTXTandPAYLOADTYPEGRPDATAso that some limited flood advert distribution can be managed via PR2553 to support e.g. observer maps.

GPS PowerSaving for repeaters: Similar power consumption as without GPS.
This is for repeaters to sync time with GPS while keeping the power consumption low as GPS is off most of the time. Activating GPS PowerSaving:powersaving on and gps on. Note: We must enable powersaving on before gps on else we need to 'gps on' again.
You can check the status and last sync by CLI gps.
GPS will stay awake up to 10 minutes then off for 1 day to save power. GPS will be off immediately after a valid time sync.
At boot, GPS will atempt to sync once.
You can force gps sync by CLI gps sync. The 'gps sync' requires 'gps on`.
Additional validation check for GPS time: Must be from more than 5 satellites and year must be less than 2030.

GPS PowerSaving for companions: Only 10-20% extra compared to without GPS.
This is for companion to track locations and sync time with GPS while keeping the power consumption low as GPS is off periodically. GPS PowerSaving is enabled by default when you enable GPS in MeshCore app. Default GPS PowerSaving profile: Maximum 10 minutes to keep GPS on and sleep immediately when GPS is set. Sleep period is 5 minutes. <img width="1084" height="117" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/f4667961-d6b2-4bf8-a09f-e4a68bd1973b" /> During GPS sleep, the GPS status still shows "Enabled" and GPS telemetry still shows the last GPS updated location.
