ESP32-S3 version of the ThinkNode (complementary to the nRF52840-based M1). SX1262 LoRa chip, 1.54'' e-paper display (EPD), GPS (GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/QZSS), 1200 mAh battery. Rotary switch for brightness and on/off, two navigation buttons. WiFi and BLE via ESP32-S3. Comes factory-loaded with Meshtastic; MeshCore firmware (v1.11.0+) officially supported. Community firmware: Companion BLE/WiFi/USB, Repeater, Room Server.

This build is based on official MeshCore 1.15.0 dev branch (as of 25-May-2026 and additionally includes the following unmerged upstream PRs/changes:

Additional changes:
  • Flood adverts are disabled (flood.advert.interval set to 0) by default
  • :new: modified PR1810 to not block flood adverts but only PAYLOADTYPEGRPTXT and PAYLOADTYPEGRPDATA so that some limited flood advert distribution can be managed via PR2553 to support e.g. observer maps.
